Microsoft Corp. announced that it plans to make the next version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM available in the fall of 2013

New Name for OnPremise Release : Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 (vs Orion)

New Name for Online Release : Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Fall’13

New Features :

• New process-driven UI which will be available and extended to On Premise Orgs and all CRM entities - JavaScript is supposed to be supported in Dynamics CRM 2013 whereas it currently isn’t supported with the process-driven UI entities in CRM Online with the December 2012 Online release
• Multiple processes per entity (even custom entities) and processes can span entities
• Yammer Integration
• MarketingPilot Integration
• Lync/Skype Integration
• Bing Maps Integration
• Windows 8 and iPad Apps
• iOS & Android Phones Apps
• Limited Beta NetBreeze Integration

Features that will be removed with Dynamics CRM 2013 :

• Workplace & Personalization Options for New Orgs

Dynamics CRM release cycle would consist of two big releases per year.

Gartner recently reported that Salesforce.com overtook SAP as the industry's largest CRM vendor, with Microsoft coming in fourth after Oracle.

As of Microsoft's third fiscal quarter ended March 31, it had 39,000 Dynamics CRM customers, spanning 3 million users.
